Device business functions

The current engineering project includes sectioning, explosion, assembly, annotations, measurement, inspection, maintenance, isolation, status alarms and clearance checks. Available controls depend on the deployed version.

Select a device root, open the relevant tool, configure its targets and initial state, preview and save. UI or Graph calls should use the current object identifier and the saved function configuration ID.

Use sectioning and explosion to inspect structure; annotations and measurement to communicate information; status alarms to express conditions; inspection and maintenance to organize steps; clearance checks to examine spatial relationships.

Begin with one object and one rule or action. Recheck references after deleting or replacing objects. Verify clearing, restoring and rerunning as well as activation. Start with the temperature alarm lesson.
