Parametric parts

Parts let you create and reuse geometry through parameters and structure. Unlike simply uploading a model, changing a parameter requires checking the rebuilt result before saving or exporting.

Open Parts in the workspace and choose a suitable template or existing part. Change one dimension first, inspect the geometry and units, then adjust other parameters. Confirm the name and available version before saving.

When using the result in a project, check size, orientation, materials and hierarchy. Editing the original part does not guarantee automatic updates in existing projects. Begin with simple shapes; CAD conversion depends on supported formats and service availability shown by your deployment.
