Physics simulation
The physics world defines gravity, stepping and start policy. Bodies define motion, while colliders define contact geometry. Begin with ball and platform.
Check dimensions, coordinates, scaling and initial positions. Enable physics and choose a start policy. Use fixed bodies for supports and dynamic bodies for free-moving objects. Add suitable colliders, mass, friction and restitution. Introduce joints, drives and motion paths only after basic collision works.
Sensors detect contact without acting as solid barriers. Simple colliders are useful for validating complex visible geometry.
Runtime checks
Distinguish start, pause, resume and reset. Repeat three runs from the same initial state; stopped sessions should not execute old actions. Check joint axes and limits, and drive targets, speeds and wake state. A visually plausible result is not proof of engineering accuracy: validate units, parameters and conditions for your application.
