Build one small working scene before exploring every tool. “Starter” names this learning path; it is not a paid plan.

StepBuildEstimated practice time
1Click a device to change its color15–20 minutes
2Drive a temperature alarm with simulated input25–35 minutes
3Drop, pause and reset a physical ball25–35 minutes

These estimates exclude downloading and initial loading. No coding, real equipment or external model is required.

Before starting

Use a desktop browser with WebGL and a mouse. Sign in, open Projects and create a dedicated practice project. Your account needs permission to create, edit and save; read-only accounts cannot save to the cloud.

Download a tutorial's starting archive. The completed archive is a reference. Importing replaces the current scene, so never use an existing business project for these exercises.

Four useful distinctions

A model is reusable 3D content. A project stores the scene, Graph, UI and physics configuration. Run mode executes behavior; clicking in the editing viewport normally selects an object. Publishing and sharing deliver a version to other people and are separate from saving your draft.
